A community that cares

We’re a group of people who live in and (mostly) work in Warwickshire, a place we love. We are working together to highlight the hidden dangers in our environment, to support organisations which are in a position to drive improvements, and to hold those that don’t to account. We all need clean air for our health and wellbeing, and for the health of the environment in which we live and on which we rely.

We want Warwickshire’s people and visitors to enjoy the cleanest, healthiest air possible – excellent air quality, everywhere, every time.

We:
⦁ Inform, facilitate and communicate – inform local people and leaders of the state of Warwickshire’s air, how it compares to other similar towns, the causes, and why air quality matters – and aim to increase popular demand for action to be taken on our poor air quality.
⦁ Take a collaborative and non-political approach, supporting parish, town, district and county councils.
⦁ We complement and collaborate with other environmental groups.

Why? Because…
⦁ Air quality matters – air affects every single organ in our body, we can live longer and healthier lives if we breathe in good air (and that also helps to protect NHS resources).
⦁ Everyone can make a difference; every little helps – you can influence policy, initiatives and actions.
⦁ Active travel supports cleaning our air, which is why we are supporting cycling and other active travel schemes.
